MY NEW SISTER THE BULLY was published by Abingdon Press in 1985.
The idea for this book came from my nephew Matthew. He was just a little guy when his mom remarried and he was
unhappy because her last name was no longer the same as hers. So, I began to think about how it might be for a kid in
this situation and after struggling with a lot of what-ifs and might-have-beens, I created this story about a boy whose
mother marries the father of the school bully -- a girl bully!
